My name is Travis, and I am old enough to have seen the rise of the internet, and its subsequent decline into a pool of sameness.  I remember back in the 90's how new and amazing the internet seemed. Hudreds of thousands of people mingling on the web, many of whom were making their own online homes like my little site here.

Perhapse it is nostalgia, perhapse it's simply the desire to return to the old ways, but I truly feel that Web 2.0 has squashed the creativity of the internet.  There is no longer that spark that drove its users to create elaborate websites out of sheer love the things they enjoy.

I hope that creating my own site, no matter how simple, or unremarkable it turns out, sparks that old creativity in someone.
